Living in the country in upstate NY, I get to see lots of farms and barns in various stages of decay. In Northern Dutchess County, there are many farms with a particular style of Silo that I really appreciate. This barn & silo seem a bit run-down and in need of some love. The grass is overgrown and the fence is in need of repair.
Nonetheless, the scene is peaceful and serene and has a quality of high heat and humidity in the summer sun.
