I showed Sunflowers 1 at an art fair in Brooklyn and immediately sold it. The idea of blowing up - or cropping into some of my graphic designs has been on my list of to-do’s for a couple of years. I’ve experimented with the concept a couple of times but this is the real staring point - a new kind of zoom series. I think it worked and am loving the hugeness of them. This size is perfect for over a couch - dim evening light makes it even more beautiful :)
