Really, this piece was an excuse to try out a new font and to use the wild complementary color combination of orange and blue but… we all spend heaps of time focused on one screen or another, myself included.

It does seem however that parents in my generation - genX - have been handing iPhones to their kids in elementary school with wide open access to the internet. Is this a good idea? What happens to a developing brain when fed endless electronic stimulation? I can’t say for sure but I do think we should all take some time everyday, or at least once a week and UNPLUG. Create something analog. Can you turn your phone off? Does it really need to be next to your bed? Do we need to check social media when we go out to dinner? Do you take your data plan with you when you die?
