One of my collectors recently suggested that I push further into the realm of abstraction and as a result, I've incorporated a new layer into my practice. All of my work starts out and is developed in the digital world. When I have the composition and color palette worked out for a new painting, I now take it one or two steps further and develop a sister painting with abstract forms utilizing the same color scheme.

Since the two paintings use the same color mixtures, I'm able to execute the paintings side-by-side and in the end, I have a realistic interpretation in my vibrant, graphic style as well as a version with the abstract knob turned up a bit.
